Observatory Trip August 2015
As part of our second inquiry this term - 'Mankind’s journey to find out about our Universe' we visited the Observatory. We learnt about the Sun and Moon and their physical effects on the heat and light available to Earth.
The trip included a classroom lesson with a teacher called Vanessa, a movie experience about the planets and the solar system and a group discovery time. In this photo Vanessa is showing us some of the stars we can see in the night sky at the moment. We were able to ask her questions too. We know know a lot more about our Solar System.
