Naming our Flowers

We learnt about the different parts of a plant and what they are used for.  Next we pulled a flower apart and named the different parts

  1. It was a very fun trip. Caroline was a good teacher. My favourite flower was the blossom/ blossom tree. It was fun going around Botanical Garden and exploring.
There was many different flowers I have never seen before. My favourite part of the trip is when my group got to go to the maze. Hope we go to Botanical Garden soon or when i am grown up

  3. I really like the Botanical Gardens trip. Caroline was a great tutor (Mainly because she has Carol in her name). I really like the self guided walk and when we went to the Potter Children's Garden and the Jungle was really cool because little droplets of water fell down on us. My group was Jasmine, Danielle, my mum, Ayla and me. I really enjoyed my 4th trip to the Botanical Gardens and I really hope to go there a 5th time! I saw so many different kinds of flowers. My favourite kind of flower was the blossom tree because there were so much blossom trees planted and there were tons of blossom flowers on each twig so the grass was caked in petals. I really enjoyed the classroom session with Caroline. Making our diagrams of parts of a flower was hard because my mum put the sticky stuff on, but then a gust of wind blew my flower parts a nanosecond before my mum put the sticky stuff on so then I had to restart. :( so i missed out on a little bit of learning restarting my diagram. Planting the marigolds were great. I also liked exploring the garden. I saw broad beans, carrots, parsley, lettuce and lots of other fruits and vegetables. I even saw a persimmon tree! (I wonder if pomegranates grow in New Zealand...) I can't wait for my next trip! I wonder where it will take place? ~Carol

    1. I agree Carol. While we were on our way to the Maze we went to the jungle as Carol said there was water comming down. It was great fun. I got wet so as my group. that was my favourite part. Mostly cause water was comming down and we got wet. hehehe. None barely noticed that we were wet. There was many different flowers. PRETTY! I've been to Botanical Gardens at least 4 times like Carol. You never know when you are gunna go back. I dont really care if we go back cause i like Botanical Gardens. Lots of Beautiful looking flowers. Caroline was a great tutor. Now i know why she was hired. My favourite flower is a blossom/blossom tree. I wish i can go back again. Thx Caroline for making it a great Trip :) I hope everyone had a great time. :)
